Hey Don, Those aren't cups. Those are PVC pipe caps. I put them on the cup adapters to protect the threads while I'm building the machine. Actually, it's best to have the heads tilted slightly downwards. The grinding mud will move back towards the sphere, instead of running back towards the motor bearings.
